Heavy Equipment Operator

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for transporting equipment to and from job sites and operating a range of heavy equipment machinery. You will be responsible for doing grading and pipe work.

Duties:     

• Operate heavy equipment – skid loaders, mini excavators, pay loader, etc.
• Operate float truck to transport heavy equipment to and from job sites.
• Load and unload equipment at sites.
• Conduct general upkeep and maintenance on equipment from day-to-day.
• General labour required.
• Following all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience operating heavy equipment is considered an asset
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Extended periods sitting.

Salary: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
