We’re looking for hard-working individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to serve up superior customer experiences. If you have a friendly, outgoing personality, top-notch customer service skills, and a team-player spirit, you may be the perfect fit. In this role, you’ll be taking and serving guest orders, taking payments, and preparing dairy bar treats, with some fun sprinkled in, too. You will get to meet lots of wonderful people and learn new skills to help you grow and gain more experience. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert in any of these areas – you will receive training to get you up to speed. You may be cross-trained for both Twin Treats Dairy Bar and Beach Treats.
Responsibilities:
- Taking guest orders using a computerized point-of-sale system
- Fulfilling guest orders for dairy bar items (i.e., ice cream, flurries, sundaes, etc.)
- Replenishing stock
- Cleaning and sterilization of equipment
- Cleaning windows, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and other general cleaning as assigned
- Assisting in the kitchen with food prep if needed (Twin Treats)
- Frying foods using an Easy Fry (Beach Treats)
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Efficiency and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a busy and fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Ability to stand during shift
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
- A food safety course is required for those preparing food
- Bilingualism is not required, but is considered an asset
Working Conditions:
- Day and evening shifts. Weekdays and weekends
- Working in a food service area – dairy bar & kitchen
Compensation: Starting wage is $17/hour with the potential for an increase based on experience.
