Campground Security (Day/Night)

As a member of our Security Team, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and peace of mind of our guests, staff, and visitors throughout the night. From greeting late arrivals at the gate to monitoring the grounds and handling non-medical emergencies, you’re the calm, capable presence that keeps things running smoothly after hours. This is a guest-facing role that requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a helpful, friendly attitude.

Responsibilities: 

• Patrol and monitor park grounds and ensure a safe and respectful environment
• Enforce park rules and regulations in a fair and consistent manner
• Answer the park’s non-medical emergency phone and respond to calls appropriately
• Identify and respond to disturbances, safety concerns, or other issues that may arise overnight
• Greet and welcome guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Monitor incoming and outgoing park traffic
• Greet and provide information to late check-ins
• Provide information about the park and respond to guest inquiries
• Communicate clearly with other departments when support or follow-up is required
• Open and close gates as needed

Qualifications:

• Friendly, calm, and confident communicator
• Ability to stay alert and attentive during overnight shifts
• Comfortable working independently and making decisions
• Reliable, responsible, and professional
• Previous security, customer service, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in Canada
• Ability to walk or patrol the grounds as needed during shift
• Basic knowledge of computers and the operation of a cash register and point-of-sale system
• Bilingualism is not required, but is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

• Night shift hours are 9pm-5am. Weekdays and weekends
• Outdoors and indoors. Be prepared for various weather conditions – sun, rain, wind, and varying temperatures

Compensation: Starting wage is $18/hour with the potential for an increase based on experience.
