Job Description:

If you have excellent customer service skills and a love for coffee and baked goods, you may be the right fit to join our Twin Perks Cafe team as a Counter Attendant. In this role, you will be fulfilling guest orders in a cafe setting. Some food prep will be required. This role is perfect for someone who is a hard worker, friendly, and has great communication skills. Shift work will be required.

Responsibilities: 

  • Completing guest transactions & fulfilling guest orders
  • Serving and making coffee, tea, smoothies, and other cafe beverages
  • Preparing and serving food
  • Stocking supplies
  • Assisting with a variety of kitchen-related tasks
  • Cleaning, including emptying garbage bins, cleaning tables, mopping, sweeping, cleaning windows, etc.

Qualifications:

  • A friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality
  • Confidence and ability to converse with guests
  • Experience working in a kitchen
  • Completion of PEI Food Safety Course (can be completed before start date)
  • Bilingualism is not required, but is considered an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Day and evening shifts. Weekdays and weekends
  • Working in a food service area

Compensation: Starting wage is $17/hour with the potential for an increase based on experience.
