  • Picking apples during harvest season

4)  Harvesting Fruits and Vegetables:

  • Washing, grading, and packing produce for market
  • Bagging apples

  • Teamwork in pressing fresh apple cider and bottling
  • Sanitizing and cleaning cider house equipment

6) Commercial Kitchen Duties:

  • Preparing ingredients for recipes (salsa, pickles, jams, freezer foods)
  • Following food safety standards
  • Cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (we aim to not work outside in the rain)

  • Previous farm, orchard, kitchen or greenhouse experience is an asset but not required
  • Previous machine operating experience (tractor, lawnmower, rototiller, crop planter) is an asset but not required
