The Diesel Stop Inc is a heavy truck and trailer repair shop looking to hire a skilled Truck & Transport Technician.
Duties include:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems including chassis, frame, cab, body, engine and drive train, air brakes, steering, and fuel, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems
- Order and pick up parts
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems including structural, brake and electrical systems.
- Red seal or Journeymen certificate considered an asset not required.
- Ability to perform tasks unsupervised.
- Record and complete work orders and applicable paperwork.
- Maintain and facilitate a safe work environment.
- Light to heavy lifting upto 75 pounds
- Class 1 or 3 with air brake endorsement considered an asset but not required.
- Class 5 and clean drivers abstract required.
Other:
- Wage will be determined based on experience.
- Must have own tools, transportation and PPE(CSA Footwear)
- Prefer full time employee but part-time would also be considered
