Job Description:

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced individual to join our client’s Quality Team in the role of Quality Manager – a key position dedicated to establishing quality standards for out products and facility to maintain compliance with Food Safety and Quality Standards.

The Quality Manager will report directly to the General Manager.

The Quality Manager will lead all Internal Auditing – managing all audits to ensure compliance with BRCGS, customer requirements, and safety protocols.

Job Accountabilities:

  • Communicate professionally, clearly, and concisely to Auditors, Compliance Agents, and Customers when communicating about Food Safety/Quality-related matters.
  • Monitor, record and report Product Quality, Food Safety, Product Labels, GMPs and Sanitation Practices to ensure ongoing compliance to industry standards.
  • Assist production in ensuring the cleanliness of all production lines meet company audit and safety requirements, by ensuring that all work areas are clutter free and well organized.
  • Performance Management: Identify team development opportunities, set realistic development plans, and provide opportunities for growth.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture with a commitment to excellence – teamwork, quality practices, etc. – with an overall focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees in setting and achieving their own professional goals.

Qualifications:

  • Previous leadership and supervisory experience in a food production setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
  • Possesses strong problem solving, and communication skills to foster positive relationship with other employees.
  • Strong organizational skills – reports, programs, auditing, etc.

Compensation/Benefits:
Our client is offering the following compensation/benefits for this position:

Wage Range: Starting at $65,000 annually – based on industry knowledge and experience
