Job Description:

*You must have a vehicle, it is a 1.5 hour drive from Charlottetown, (please google your location to 85 Munns Road, Kingsboro PE to find out your distance from this workplace.)

Seasonal Full-time, 40 hours per week

Wages: 20.00/hour + 4 % vac pay

The Field Worker Position starts Monday, May 04, 2026 or later to Friday, August 28, 2026.

The fly program Field Worker reports to the Team Lead for their daily work plan.

Field Workers will complete a variety of support tasks either in the field (95%) of the time or in the office (5%).

Writing data into log books, collecting information, carrying small tools or equipment (walkie-talkies, GPS unit) and a backpack with dry or liquid larvicide. Field workers need to have legible hand printing/writing and numeracy skills and be able to follow directions. Previous work outside would be highly appropriate for this job. You must be physically fit. Field workers will be walking and hiking along streams, brooks and through fields.

Field Workers will need a vehicle to get to the office at the Eastern Kings Community Centre in Kingsboro, PE.
