Carpenter Helper

Job Description:

Renovation by the Sea are seeking a Carpenter Helper to join our small construction team. Some experience is preferable.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial builds, using a wide range of tools and techniques.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for executing tasks to assist crew member with precision and professionalism, contributing to the completion of projects.

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Interpret construction drawings to accurately execute project plans
• Assist with framing and construction of garages, home additions, patios/decks, staircases, etc. as required
• Perform tasks such as roofing, siding, tile laying, cabinetry installation, and flooring with attention to detail and quality standards
• Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively
• Possess mathematics literacy for the purposes of construction measuring and calculation
• Do drywall, as well as finishing work such as painting, mudding, caulking, etc.
• Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks necessary for construction site operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols Experience
• Proven experience (1-2 years) in construction trades such as carpentry or general contracting
• Handyman experience or multi-trade skills are highly desirable for versatility in project execution
