AR / Reception Clerk
Location: Charlottetown, PE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (in-office, no remote work)
Compensation: $22.50 per hour
Overview
Red Sands is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented AR / Reception Clerk to join our team at our Charlottetown headquarters. This role is responsible for invoicing, accounts receivable follow-up, payroll support, and front desk operations. You will be a key point of contact for clients and play an important role in keeping our financial and administrative processes running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Job Close-Out
- Close jobs in the system and prepare accurate invoices
- Ensure invoices reflect correct labour, materials, and job details
- Upload invoices into property management software and maintain proper records
- Accounts Receivable
- Follow up with customers on outstanding balances via phone and email
- Respond to client inquiries related to invoices and payments
- Participate in weekly AR review meetings with management
Payroll Support
- Compile and review employee hours and mileage submissions
- Assist with ensuring accuracy prior to payroll processing
Reception & Office Administration
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries appropriately
- Greet and assist clients and visitors at the front desk
- Maintain general tidiness and organization of the office
- Support management with scanning, filing, and administrative tasks
Qualifications
- Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, or a similar administrative role is preferred
- Diploma or degree in Business Administration is considered an asset
- Experience with property management or job management software is an asset
- Willingness to support multiple Red Sands divisions as needed

- Proficient with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office
Compensation & Benefits
- $22.50 per hour
- Two weeks paid vacation
