Kinesiologist

Physio East, a division of reactive health Inc, is a multidisciplinary clinic offering Physiotherapy, Massage Therapy, Chiropractic Care, and Acupuncture services to individuals of all ages with locations in Montague and Morell, PE. Physio East is actively seeking a self-motivated, client focused Kinesiologist to join our team.

The right candidate is an organized, energetic and approachable person who is interested in providing services on-site services to enhance client outcomes and work in a supportive team with highly skilled practitioners.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Work closely with Physiotherapists to assist and progress a client’s plan of care including exercise prescription programs, modalities, heat/ice packs, etc.
• Design and implement work hardening/conditioning programs to meet the specific client’s needs under the direction of a Physiotherapist
• Perform and report on functional assessments, and return to work processes
• Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
• Ensure the treatment/gym area is clean, organized and free of safety hazards
• Assist Physiotherapist’s by ensuring treatment rooms are ready for intake, cleaning beds, moving client’s from wait room to treatment space, etc.
• Laundry, cleaning duties and organization of the Physiotherapy treatment areas
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and funder stakeholders
• Complete product inventory and ordering processes
• Be willing and able to learn the online scheduling software to provide light Administrative duties.
• Opening/Closing duties
• Marketing duties

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology
• Strong communication, computer and phone skills.
• Member of good standing with KinPEI
• Criminal Record check
