Account Manager
Branch Location: Charlottetown, PEI

The Account Manager role manages a portfolio of commercial lending and deposit relationships, supporting business members with diverse and often complex financial needs. In this role, you will build strong relationships with business owners, understand their financial goals, and provide tailored lending and banking solutions to support their success. You will assess credit requests, structure financing solutions, and manage ongoing portfolio risk while identifying opportunities to grow member relationships.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business members by understanding their financial needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Assess and process credit requests, including analyzing financial statements and structuring lending solutions.
- Present financing proposals, negotiate terms, and coordinate loan closings while ensuring required documentation and security are in place.
- Manage an assigned loan portfolio, including renewals, reporting requirements, and ongoing credit reviews.
- Monitor overdrafts and follow up on delinquent loans when required.
- Identify opportunities to grow relationships by recommending additional products and services.
- Support business development by seeking new member opportunities and promoting Credit Union solutions.
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or a College Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting,
- Commerce, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in business lending, relationship management, or commercial banking within the financial services industry.
- Demonstrated success delivering strong member service and supporting business growth through financial solutions.

- Solid financial acumen, including the ability to analyze financial statements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
