The PEI Preserve Company is growing and we are hiring full-time Production Assistants to join our artisan food production team for the upcoming season.
This is a steady day shift position (Monday–Friday) with consistent hours and the opportunity to learn real commercial food manufacturing skills in a professional production environment.
Schedule
- Day shift (no evenings)
- Monday to Friday
- 40–48 hours per week
- Season runs May through October
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and weigh ingredients for production
- Assist with cooking and batch processing
- Fill, seal, label, and package products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the facility
- Follow food safety and quality procedures
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production targets
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and punctual with strong attendance
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team-focused and able to work in a structured environment
- Previous kitchen, warehouse, manufacturing, or food production experience is an asset, but full training is provided.
