Cleaner

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires effective communication skills, time management, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform commercial cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Utilize power tools and hand tools for cleaning and maintenance tasks as required.
• Conduct custodial tasks in accordance with established cleaning protocols to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding cleaning needs and facility maintenance issues.
• Assist in facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or necessary repairs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from facility occupants promptly and professionally.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary to move furniture or equipment during cleaning operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in cleaning and maintenance activities is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 pounds) as required by the job.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and customers effectively.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all cleaning tasks.
