What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Manager of Marketing & Communications, you will support the delivery of day-to-day marketing, communications, and event activities while helping bring our brand and member experience to life across all channels. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with our team to execute campaigns, support operations, and contribute to ongoing improvements as we build on our evolving systems and strategy.

  • Help organize internal and external communications through newsletters, advertising, intranet, social media content creation, and more
  • Understand our existing marketing and communications strategy and help build out new strategies to utilize our new system
  • Assist with organizing and inventorying swag items
  • Support event setup and takedown, including tents, signage, and promotional materials
  • Represent PEI Mutual at events and engage with attendees
  • Manage logistics such as materials, transportation, and checklists
  • Help coordinate sponsorships and donations, including tracking budgets and gathering information
  • Support delivery of sponsorship assets like signage, digital ads, articles, and social content
  • Assist with writing, file organization, design work, and other day-to-day tasks as needed

About you:

  • A post secondary student who is available for work beginning in early May
  • Outgoing and positive personality with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus)
  • You have an eye for design and are an expert Canva user
  • Familiar with Facebook Business Pages and Instagram Business Profiles
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to vehicle
