PEI Intensity is looking to add Summer Camp Counsellor’s to their team for the Summer of 2026.

Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and creative Summer Camp Counsellors to join our team for the summer. Camp Counsellors play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children through planned activities, outdoor play, and positive leadership. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children and have interests in arts, crafts, science, drama, and other creative activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage groups of children throughout the camp day
  • Plan, lead, and participate in age-appropriate activities such as arts and crafts, science projects, drama, games, and outdoor play
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of campers at all times
  • Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and inclusion
  • Spend the majority of the day outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Assist with daily camp routines, including set-up, clean-up, transitions, and snack/lunch supervision
  • Communicate effectively with fellow staff and camp leadership
  • Follow all camp policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols
