Job Description:

O’Connor Glass Ltd. is looking to hire TWO General Service Technicians.

The General Service Technician supports day-to-day service operations, assisting with glass repairs, hardware adjustments, and general maintenance for commercial and residential projects. This role works alongside experienced technicians to ensure service work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with service, repair, and maintenance of glass systems and related hardware
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs
  • Safely operate hand and power tools
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Complete basic service documentation as required

Qualifications

  • Mechanical aptitude and strong hands-on skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction, glazing, or service-related work
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Comfortable lifting, climbing, and working on ladders when required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Red Seal certification considered an asset, but not required
