Position Overview
We are looking for a Automatic Door Technician to join our team. This role focuses on installing, servicing, and troubleshooting automatic door systems for commercial and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, service, and repair automatic door operators and related hardware
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on automatic door systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency service calls
  • Test door systems to ensure proper and safe operation
  • Read installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and service instructions
  • Maintain service records and parts inventory
  • Represent the company professionally at all job sites

Qualifications

  • Experience in mechanical, electrical, or service-based roles
  • Knowledge of automatic doors, access systems, or low-voltage
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in active job-site environments
  • AAADM certification required to ensure proper setup, inspection, and safety compliance of automatic door systems
