Job Description:

Temporary Packaging Technician(s) work in a Health Canada–regulated packaging environment, assisting with preparing cannabis products for final sale. This includes weighing, labeling, packaging, sampling, and inspecting products in line with SOPs to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality standards.

The role is hands-on and team-oriented, requiring adaptability in a fast-paced, growing production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package cannabis flower, pre-rolls, and oils in compliance with regulations
  • Support quality control and packaging equipment maintenance
  • Assist with inventory tracking and labeling accuracy
  • Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitization standards
  • Perform additional tasks such as hand-harvesting when required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in regulated packaging (asset)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced setting
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with reliable transportation
  • Must pass criminal record check and be 19+

Physical & Work Conditions:

  • Repetitive, physically demanding work (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, twisting)
  • Fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Exposure to cleaning agents and cannabis materials; PPE required
  • Requires focus on repetitive tasks with minimal supervision
  • Core competencies include attention to detail, reliability, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal skills, and continuous job development.
