TEMPORARY HARVESTER
Works with the Harvest Team Lead/Supervisor to harvest, trim, and buck plants according to production schedules while keeping a clean and organized workspace. Performs machine operation (e.g., Twister), hand trimming, cleaning, and basic plant handling tasks in a fast-paced greenhouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Harvest, trim, and process plants using tools and by hand
- Operate and clean equipment (e.g., Twister machines)
- Identify and handle product quality issues
- Complete regular cleaning and sanitation duties
- Maintain organized, compliant work areas (SOPs, Health Canada standards)
- Support other team members and departments as needed
- Follow health, safety, and PPE requirements
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Able to perform repetitive, physical work (up to 50 lbs)
- Comfortable working in hot, humid, and cold environments
- Reliable transportation and availability for full-time hours
- Must be 19+ and able to pass a criminal record check
Work Conditions:
- Physically demanding, fast-paced, repetitive tasks
- Exposure to plant material, cleaning chemicals, and PPE use
- Variable temperatures, humidity, and noise levels
