Job Posting: Warehouse Helper
We are a leading manufacturer and distributer of stainless steel cookware and kitchen accessories. We have an immediate need for a warehouse person to help get our products out to our customers. No experience is necessary as we will train. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 4:30.
Responsibilities and Duties
Work in the distribution centre at 489 Brackley Point Road to help with all aspects of processing orders, from the time the order is received, to picking and packing the inventory items and getting them ready for shipment.
Get packaging boxes and supplies ready for packers
Put cardboard sleeves on cookware products. Pack in shipping containers. Stack boxes on skids
Keep work areas clean and tidy
Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times
Qualifications and Skills
Teamwork
Dependable
Must be able to work on feet for most of day and be able to lift 30-50 pounds
Certified Steel Toed Boots required
Forklift certification is a definite asset (not required)
Previous warehouse experience is an asset but not required as we will train
Work Hours
Minimum 8 hours a day, 5 days a week with possibility of overtime
Day shifts
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Proof required.
