The McInnis Group (1993) Ltd. is looking to hire a Bar Attendant at Uptown Lounge
Job Duties include:
- Customer Service, greeting guests, presenting menus, and answering questions regarding food and beverages.
- Order Taking & Delivery: Recording orders accurately and relaying them to kitchen/bar staff, then serving food and drinks.
- Table Maintenance: Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables, and maintaining clean service areas.
- Payment Processing: Presenting bills and processing cash or credit card payments.
- Menu Knowledge
- Drink Preparation: Mixing cocktails, serving drinks
- Service & Sales: Taking beverage orders from patrons at the bar
- Compliance & Safety: Checking identification for legal age, and following provincial/territorial liquor legislation.
- Bar Maintenance: Washing glassware, cleaning utensils, and stocking the bar with ice, garnishes, and liquor.
- Multitasking: Handling multiple tables or bar customers simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Polishing cutlery, cleaning stations, and restocking supplies.
Salary is $17.00 per hour plus tips!
