Class 3A Bulk Delivery Truck Driver

Job Description:

McCain Fertilizer has three fertilizer blending facilities strategically placed across PEI. These blending facilities custom blend and deliver fertilizer during the planting season to meet the grower’s needs. McCain Fertilizer also supplies crop protectants, seeds and custom services to the agricultural sector

We are currently seeking Class 3A Bulk Delivery Truck Drivers for our plants. This is a 1–2-month position with the opportunity for continued employment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required Class 3A driver’s license
• Experience hauling bulk fertilizer
• Ability to operate a forklift would be considered an asset
• Willing to work evenings and weekends during busy planting season
• Ability to work well with supervision and other employees
• Team player with excellent attendance
• Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate “safety first’’ on a continual basis, following all safety requirements.
