The Part-Time Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality, safety, and visual appeal of the hotel and cottages property. This role balances day-to-day “handyman” repairs with administrative coordination, acting as the primary point of contact for external licensed tradespeople when specialized repairs are required.
- Fix minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall issues.
- Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and exterior grounds daily.
- Contact and coordinate with specialized contractors (electricians, plumbers, HVAC technicians) for major repairs.
- Follow up with external contractors to ensure scheduled work is completed correctly and on time.
- Respond quickly to guest maintenance requests with a professional attitude.
- Troubleshoot basic hotel appliances and room fixtures.
