Truck Wash Attendant

Job Description:

Summary

The Truck Wash Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining company vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and related equipment. The role ensures all vehicles are kept in excellent condition and presentable, contributing to the company’s professional image and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Cleaning & Maintenance
• Wash and clean trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles (interior and exterior)
• Operate pressure washers, cleaning equipment, and wash bay systems safely and efficiently.
• Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and ensure quality standards are met.
• Refilling cleaning supplies and maintaining wash bay area cleanliness.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with WHMIS and company procedures.
• Assist in minor detailing such as vacuuming, polishing, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Report any damages, defects, or safety concerns to the Fleet Supervisor.

Support & Documentation

• Maintain wash logs and report completed tasks daily.
• Support drivers and maintenance teams with vehicle preparation for inspection or dispatch.
• Assist in moving vehicles in and out of the wash bay or parking area when required.

Health & Safety

• Follow all workplace safety and environmental policies.
• Wear required PPE and adhere to company safety procedures at all times.
• Immediately report hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in vehicle washing or detailing (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
• Ability to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
• Basic knowledge of cleaning tools, pressure washers, and safety procedures

• Standing for extended hours, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Repetitive tasks, Fast-Paced Environment

Work Schedule

• Mon-Fri 8:00am- 5:00pm
