Full-Time Position with Salary Range Starting at $25.00 per hour, 37.5 hours per week**

Whatโ€™s the Job?

As a Settlement Impact & Data Analyst, your primary duties will be overseeing and helping to optimize client record management and database creation via our NewOrg platform. The role will help establish data standards, SOP workflows and quality controls for the team, with the goal of improving how staff collect, input and interpret data. Via this process, you will work to analyze program efficiency, โ€œWhatโ€™s workingโ€ with metrics and help identify trends that will aid in our strategic planning and decision making as a team.

The ideal candidate will be able to help provide data clarity via various tools (internal dashboards /reports/metrics), by translating the information into easy to follow narratives and visuals for our usage internally and externally. The goal of these actions is to increase the effectiveness and reach of IRSA client support, to support successful newcomer settlement and integration into local Island communities.

This role collaborates across IRSA departments and builds and maintain strong viable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote IRSAโ€™s vision, mission and core values as well as the above listed priorities.

What skills or qualifications will help me succeed?ย ย ย ย ย 

We require you to have a post-secondary degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, with 2-5 years experience in role (or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience) to be considered for this role.

The ideal candidate also possesses a unique blend of hard and soft skills to meet role success.

  • Technical and analytical skills such as Data Visualization, SQL/Basic Programming/Python/R would be considered key role qualifications.
  • The soft skills to analyze, evaluate and share that data to a varied audience with diverse technical skills, to ensure their comprehension, would also be a key indicator of success in role.
  • Understanding the systems available, seeing the big picture for how that data flows through the system and communicating it to the proper stakeholders for support are crucial.

The following list of skills would also be considered assets:

  • Non-Profit, Government or Social Service sector experience.
  • A talent development and education mindset, to help others elevate their usage of the tools
