Hynes Paving a local Island owned asphalt and paving contractor specializing in residential and commercial projects.
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Estimator/Salesperson to join our growing team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for
- Maintaining client relationships
- Providing accurate estimates for asphalt paving
- Patching, and resurfacing projects
This job is best suited for someone who is both people orientated and detail focused. A strong knowledge of the paving industry and construction industry is considered an asset.
Responsibilities would also entail:
- On site assessments,
- Prepare accurate estimates
- Proposals and quotes
- Follow up with clients to secure contracts
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth job execution
- Maintain up to date knowledge of materials, industry pricing and production methods and will represent the company professionally at all times.
Previous experience in asphalt paving, construction sales, or estimating an asset. Excellent communication skills and valid drivers license is required.
