GIP Island Construction Ltd is looking for an experienced Truck Driver that is looking for year round work.
During the construction season you would be driving either a tandem dump truck or tractor trailer. (depending on license restrictions) During the winter months you would be doing Highway Snow Removal and Sanding in the Vernon River/Earnscliffe Area.
Due to the urgent nature of snow removal operations, candidates who live in close proximity to the area will be given preference to ensure reliable, rapid response times during early morning or unexpected weather callouts.
We are also open to applications for strictly the plow route if only looking for seasonal employment.
During the plowing season, compensation is salary based.
During the construction season compensation is hourly depending on class of license. $25.76 – $26.28
