Job Overview:

Killer Dog Kafe is looking for Bakers to join our team! As a Baker, you’ll be responsible for crafting high quality baked goods while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of products such as cakes, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods
• Follow established recipes, production protocols and schedules to ensure consistency and quality
• Accuracy in measuring ingredients
• Inventory and ingredient restocking
• Operate commercial kitchen and baking equipment safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of recipes and baked goods
• Monitor baking times and temperatures
• Product quality control
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Previous baking experience (professional/commercial preferred or strong home experience)
• Knowledge of basic baking techniques
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and time management skills
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food Handler Certificate
• WHMIS certificate
