Front Counter Representative

Ferguson Sales is looking to hire a Front Counter Representative

We are a busy restaurant supply company who supply restaurants, institutions, companies, and the general public with items ranging from large refrigeration units all the way down to smallwares like a spatula. We service all of Atlantic Canada, and we also have an HVAC division that installs and services heating systems across the Island.

We require a person to join our front staff to help oversee customer service by greeting and interacting with each customer and processing each purchase.  Having knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset.  Answering phones or emails, responding to what has been asked (to the best of your ability), or directed to the proper person.  This person will also help keep the store clean (dusting, sweeping, mopping), inventory management, data entry.  There will also be times where orders will have to be received and verified, or shipped with the proper documentation.

Wage is dependent on experience and qualifications.  Having knowledge of kitchen equipment and/or hvac systems is an asset.
