Junior Sales Associate

Job Description:

Description of Duties:
The Junior Sales Associate will assist customers in a running-focused retail environment, providing exceptional service and guidance on running footwear, apparel, and accessories. Training will be provided. Responsibilities include:

• Greeting customers and providing personalized advice on running shoes, apparel, and accessories;
• Conducting shoe fittings to help customers find the right fit for comfort and performance;
• Operating the cash register and processing sales, returns, and exchanges accurately;
• Maintaining store displays, organizing inventory, and restocking merchandise;
• Supporting store events, including community run clubs, product demonstrations, and special promotions;
• Assisting with online orders and inventory tracking;
• Cleaning and organizing the showroom and storage areas; and
• Performing other related duties as required

Skills/Qualifications:

• An interest in running, fitness, or an active lifestyle is considered an asset;
• Previous retail or customer service experience is considered an asset;
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills;
• Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
• Comfortable learning about running products and sharing information with customers; and
• Must be between 15 and 29 years of age and planning to return to school in the fall, in accordance with the requirements of the SkillsPEI Jobs for Youth Program.

Compensation/Benefits:

• $17/hour; 30-40 hours/week
