Marketing / Sales Assistant

Job Description:

Copper Bottom Brewing is seeking an energetic, creative, and community-minded Marketing & Sales Assistant to support the General Manager in the areas of marketing, sales, brand development, and customer engagement.

This role will play a key part in helping build and strengthen the next chapter of the Copper Bottom Brewing brand. The successful candidate will act as a brand ambassador, helping create meaningful connections with customers, retail partners, tourism stakeholders, and the broader community while supporting sales growth and brand visibility.

The ideal candidate is organized, outgoing, collaborative, and passionate about craft beer, hospitality, local culture, and storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support

• Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives
• Support social media planning, content creation, photography, and community engagement
• Help maintain consistent brand messaging across digital, print, and in-person channels
• Coordinate marketing materials including posters, menus, newsletters, event assets, and merchandise
• Assist in managing website updates and promotional calendars
• Support the launch and development of new branding initiatives and products

Sales Support

• Assist the General Manager with retail and wholesale sales initiatives
• Help maintain relationships with retail partners, restaurants, tourism operators, and community organizations
• Participate in sales outreach and follow-up communications
• Support product launches, seasonal promotions, and special events
• Help identify opportunities to grow market presence and customer engagement
• Brand Ambassador Responsibilities
• Represent Copper Bottom Brewing professionally at events, festivals, tastings, and community functions
• Build positive relationships with customers and partners
• Communicate the story, values, and personality of the Copper Bottom Brewing brand
• Help create memorable guest experiences both online and in person
• Promote a culture of hospitality, creativity, and local pride
• Administrative & Operational Support
• Assist with organizing events, sponsorships, and partnerships
• Support inventory and ordering coordination for promotional materials and merchandise
• Track marketing activities and assist with reporting and campaign performance

Provide general administrative support to the General Manager as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience or education in marketing, communications, sales, hospitality, business, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable using social media platforms and digital marketing tools
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license considered an asset
• Experience in craft beverage, tourism, hospitality, or event industries is an assetDesired Attributes
