Paint/Retail Sales Associate

Core Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultations: Guide customer on choosing the correct paint types, finishes, primers, and brushes for their specific surfaces.
• Color Blending: Operate automated tint dispensers, and mechanical paint shakers to create custom formulas.
• Merchandising: Stock heavy paint cans, organize all inside departments electrical, plumbing, seasonal etc
• Department Upkeep: Keep a clear  and organized work station. Maintain stock levels on retail floor.
• Order Processing: Take phone orders from contractors, calculate material quantities, and finalize sales at the cash register.

Key Requirements:

• Physical Strength: Ability to repeatedly lift, stack, and carry 1-gallon and 5-gallon paint pails weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Visual Acuity: Excellent color vision to detect subtle shade differences and verify a perfect match against customer samples.
• Detail-Oriented: Precision in reading formula numbers and inputting accurate base codes into mixing computers to avoid costly waste.
• Schedule Flexibility: Readiness to work variable shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, to align with peak peak retail hours.
