NOW HIRING: Automotive Technician
LOCATION: Centennial Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram – Montague, PE
HOURS: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
WAGES: Earn $58,000 to $100,000 per year with a guaranteed minimum 40-hour work week, benefits, and a competitive flat-rate equivalent to $28.00–$35.00 per hour.

APPLICABLE SKILLS:
- Valid Canadian driver’s license required.
- Licensed Red Seal Endorsement Certificate is preferred, or
- Must be currently working towards Automotive Technician Red Seal Certificate
- PEI Motor Vehicle Inspection License will be considered an asset
- Knowledgeable in vehicle electrical systems and fault diagnostics
- Excellent standards of quality control and accurate record-keeping
- Attention to detail ensuring precision in all tasks
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently and in a fast-paced environment
JOB TASKS:
Diagnose and Repair Vehicles:
- Perform accurate and timely diagnostics, maintenance, and repair services on a wide range of vehicles.
Perform Routine Maintenance:
- Conduct regular vehicle maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid level checks, and filter replacements to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the vehicles.
Inspect and Test Vehicles:
- Conduct thorough inspections and test drives to identify mechanical issues and ensure the vehicle’s overall condition meets safety and performance standards.
Use Diagnostic Tools and Equipment:
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools, software, and equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues.
Follow Manufacturer Specifications:
- Adhere to manufacturer guidelines and specifications when performing repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring the highest quality of service.
Document Services and Repairs:
- Maintain detailed records of services performed for accurate customer records.
Maintain Clean and Safe Work Environment:
- Keep the work area clean and organized, following safety protocols
Ongoing training:
- Continuously update technical knowledge and skills through training, workshops, etc.
Collaborate with Team Members:
- Work closely with other technicians, service advisors, and dealership staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer service.
