About Us: Cascumpec Bay Oyster Company is a premium oyster processor committed to quality, sustainability and delivering exceptional products to customers across Canada. We are seeking a motivated, customer focused individual to join our team in the position of Retail Lead. This position will be the first point of contact for our retail customers at our store located in Coleman, PEI.
Position Summary: The Retail Lead is responsible for executing daily retail operations, maintaining product presentation, preserving the companies already established commitment to quality, and providing customers with exceptional service standards. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, retail experience, and an appreciation for premium seafood products and local food culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shucking Oysters
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Monitor inventory and communicate stock needs
- Maintain retail displays
- Ensure cleanliness of retail area
- Assist in packaging of online orders to be shipped Canada wide
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Retail experience is considered an asset
- Experience with POS system is considered an asset
- Knowledge of oysters is considered an asset-enthusiasm for learning is essential
