Job Description:

We are in search of a Service Advisor!

Automotive experience is an asset but not required. We’re looking for someone with great customer service skills that is willing to learn!

Job Duties:

  • Provide an exceptional experience to each customer you interact with.
  • Perform a full service consult including a greeting, vehicle walk-around, review of owner information, vehicle maintenance minder, and vehicle history.
  • Identify service needs of customer vehicle based upon historical service data.
  • Provide repair and maintenance recommendations and explain the features and benefits of any recommended service or repair.
  • Verify recalls, warranty and service contract coverage and communicate coverage and exclusions to customers.
  • Perform road test of customer vehicles as needed, to duplicate customer concerns (engage shop foreman when required).
  • Document customer’s routine maintenance or vehicle problems accurately and clearly on the repair order.
  • Advise customers of estimated service and repair costs and review details of service/repair with customer to gain their understanding. Have the customer sign off on the work that is to be performed.
  • Provide an estimated time to complete the vehicle service and repairs.
  • Monitor progress of service and repairs and update customer regularly.
  • Notify customer of completed status, coordinate shuttle, pick-up time and or after-hours pick-up.
  • Review services completed and invoice at pick-up time, collect payment, and locate vehicle for customer.
  • Address customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Be knowledgeable about new features, promotions, and updates.
  • Be a champion for delivering excellent service 100% of the time.
