Job Description:

McInnis Group (1993) Ltd. O/A Uptown Lounge – Cook – Part-time

Food Preparation:

• Prepare, cook, and garnish food items according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Station Management: Set up and restock workstations with necessary supplies (utensils, ingredients) before and during shifts.

Sanitation and Safety:

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Operational Support:

• Follow inventory records, store food properly, and assist with stock control.

Collaboration:

• Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and service staff to ensure efficient service.
• Knowledge of standard kitchen methods and appliances.
• Ability to work in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and working in high temperatures.
• Food Handler Certification is often required.
