Sales Coordinator

Job Description:

Bluefield Seeding Solutions Inc. (BSSI) is a North Wiltshire, PEI Ag-Tech company developing innovative precision planting technologies for potato farmers. We are looking for a driven Social Media & Sales Coordinator to grow our brand and revenue in a dual-focus role.

Sales & Business Development: prospect and qualify leads in the potato farming and Ag-Tech community; attend trade shows and agricultural events; build and maintain customer relationships; deliver product demonstrations; manage the full sales cycle; maintain and update the CRM; and report pipeline activity to executives.

Social Media & Marketing: develop and schedule content across social platforms; manage and grow BSSI’s digital presence; create newsletters and campaigns using Mailchimp; capture content at events and farm visits; monitor engagement metrics; and propose creative strategies to reach our niche market.

Qualifications: comfort with direct sales and customer-facing conversations; valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel; familiarity with social media and digital marketing; strong communication skills; and strong organizational ability. Students and recent graduates in Marketing, Agriculture, or Business are encouraged to apply. Video editing and Mailchimp experience are assets.

This role begins at approximately 20 hours per week with the expectation of transitioning to full-time (40 hours per week) as the role develops.
