Job Description:

BGC Prince County is seeking an experienced grant writer to join our Fund Development Team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing complex funding applications and creating long-term funding strategies that make a lasting community impact.

As the Senior Grant & Fund Development Officer, you’ll lead the preparation of provincial, federal, foundation, and other major funding applications while working collaboratively with our Program Manager and Fund Development Officer to maximize funding opportunities across the organization.

You’ll also contribute to community grants, sponsorships, and partnership development as organizational priorities require.

Regular time spent in our programs is an important part of the role, helping you understand the people and services your proposals support.

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated success writing complex grant applications.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong research and project management abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple funding deadlines.
  • A collaborative approach and passion for community impact.
  • Experience with provincial and federal funding applications is strongly preferred.
