Job Description:

BGC Prince County is looking for a talented writer with exceptional attention to detail to join our Fund Development Team.

If you enjoy writing, researching opportunities, building relationships, and making a difference in your community, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Fund Development Officer, you’ll help secure funding that supports programs and services for children, youth, adults, and families across Prince County. You’ll research funding opportunities, write grant applications, develop sponsorship proposals, and work closely with staff to tell the stories that showcase the impact of our work.

This is a collaborative role where you’ll regularly spend time in our programs, getting to know the people and services you’re writing about.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is an exceptional writer with strong attention to detail.
  • Enjoys research and problem-solving.
  • Can manage multiple deadlines.
  • Builds positive relationships with others.
  • Is organized and self-motivated.
  • Wants to grow their career in nonprofit fund development.
  • Experience in grant writing, fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related field is considered an asset.
