Position Title: Cook / Line Cook

Reports To: Food & Beverage Manager

Pay: $19-22/hour (negotiable based on experience)

Position Summary

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking cook to join our kitchen team at Belvedere Golf Club. This position is responsible for preparing and cooking menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality, cleanliness, organization, and teamwork. Our kitchen supports daily restaurant service, tournaments, weddings, banquets, and special events throughout the golf season.

The ideal candidate works well in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with teammates, and takes pride in creating a positive experience for members and guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
  • Set up and stock stations before service
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and efficiently during service periods
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
  • Assist with banquet and tournament food preparation
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and health regulations always
  • Properly store and label food items
  • Help with receiving and rotating inventory
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
  • Support a positive and professional team environment

Qualifications & Skills

  • Previous kitchen or cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food safety certification is considered an asset

Schedule
