Position Overview: 

As a Seasonal Night Picker, you will support warehouse operations by picking and preparing customer orders for delivery. This role involves selecting products, building pallets, and organizing orders accurately to ensure they are ready for shipment. The position requires physical work, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently during overnight operations.

Location: ADL Foodservice, 400 Read Drive, Summerside, PE

Term: ASAP – mid/late October

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday (7:00PM – 3:30AM)

Wage Rate: $23.86 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick products accurately based on order lists or handheld scanner instructions.
• Build and organize pallets to ensure products are secure and ready for delivery.
• Handle and move products safely within the warehouse using manual handling or equipment as required.
• Repack products when necessary to maintain product quality and proper packaging.
• Perform quality checks to ensure orders are complete and in good condition before shipment.
• Work in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments while handling products appropriately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Use handheld scanners or warehouse tools to process orders and record product movement.
• Follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines at all times.
• Support general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or order picking experience considered an asset.
• Available to work scheduled overnight shifts (Sunday–Thursday)
• Physically capable of performing regular lifting, moving, and handling of products throughout the shift.
• Willing to stay beyond the scheduled shift end time when required to complete orders.
• Comfortable working in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments.
• Strong attention to detail when picking and preparing orders accurately.
• Ability to work at a steady and efficient pace while maintaining accuracy.
• Able to work independently while remaining reliable and productive.
• Comfortable using handheld scanners or basic warehouse tools (training provided).
