Line Worker/General Labourer

Location: 1058 Millboro Road, RTE 226, Brookfield, PE, C0A 1Y0

ADI International (PEI) operates the Central Compost Facility located in Brookfield, PE.  The Central Compost Facility is designed to convert source separated organics into a high-quality compost. Our facility is seeking a permanent full-time Line Worker/General Labourer. The successful candidate will support the operations across many different areas of the facility while contributing to product quality and safe working environment.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Wage Range $18.00-$21.00/ hour
• Permanent full-time employment (40hrs per week, Monday-Friday 8-4:30)

Key responsibilities of this position will include:

• Working on the Pre-Process Sorting Line.
• Assist in the day-to-day maintenance (housekeeping) of the Facility.
• Maintain safe and clean equipment and general work area.
• Property maintenance, including pressure washing, painting, and general grounds keeping.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including extended standing and ability to lift (up to 50lbs).
• Assist with other Facility operations as required.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a General Labourer
• Able to communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members
• Able to follow instructions and production procedures to support safe operations
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Adapt to various tasks or areas as needed
