Job Description:

Are you an experienced, Licensed General Insurance professional who enjoys taking care of clients—but is feeling disconnected in a corporate environment?

We’re a locally owned and operated insurance practice in Charlottetown, and we’re looking for a General Insurance Associate to join our close‑knit team. This role is ideal for someone currently working at a brokerage or large insurer who values relationships, professionalism, and being part of a workplace where people genuinely matter.

The Role

  • Provide sales and service support for personal lines insurance (auto and home)
  • Advise clients on coverage options that genuinely fit their needs
  • Handle policy changes, renewals, endorsements, and billing inquiries
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities while maintaining a client‑first approach
  • Work collaboratively with Advisors and support staff in a respectful, team‑based environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with underwriting and regulatory guidelines

What We’re Looking For

  • Active General Insurance License (PEI) – required
  • 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance (broker or agency setting)
  • Strong product knowledge and confidence handling client conversations
  • Likes the challenge of team goals
  • Professional, reliable, and detail‑oriented
  • Owns a reliable vehicle and willing to do client property inspections
  • Comfortable using insurance and CRM systems (Salesforce experience is an asset)
  • Someone who values accountability, mutual respect, and a positive workplace culture
