In February 2024, based on data unadjusted for seasonality, 10,130 people received regular Employment Insurance (EI) benefits in Prince Edward Island, down 550 recipients from January 2024. Compared with February 2023, the number of beneficiaries increased by , 430 or 4.4%. By comparison, the number of beneficiaries increased by 12.9% in Canada over the same period.
