In February 2025, based on data unadjusted for seasonality, 10,100 people received regular Employment Insurance (EI) benefits in Prince Edward Island, down 300 recipients from February 2025. Compared with February 2024, the number of beneficiaries decreased by 80 or 0.8%. By comparison, the number of beneficiaries increased by 3.5% in Canada over the same period.
