In August 2026, the participation rate in Prince Edward Island was 66.5%, 0.5 of a percentage point higher in comparison to July 2026. Compared with August 2025, the rate is 0.2 of a percentage point higher. By comparison, the participation rate for Canada was 65.0% which represents a decrease of 0.1 of a percentage point in a year over year comparison.
