Indian River Farms is seeking skilled and motivated Farm Labourers to join our team in Kensington, Prince Edward Island.
For more than 35 years, Indian River Farms has been proudly growing potatoes and contributing to our local farming community. As our operation continues to grow, we are looking for dependable team members who share our commitment to quality, safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Position Overview
The position of Farm Labourer is a Seasonal (April to November), 40-60 hours a week position where wages range from $18.00 – $20.00 an hour and is located at 1160 Route 20, Kensington, PE, C0B 1M0. You will support our business from planting to harvest.
Key Responsibilities
- Cutting potato seed
- Washing and sanitizing potato bins
- Prepping and moving irrigation equipment
- Taking samples of soil, water, & plants
- Cleaning and organizing the maintenance shop
- Mowing green manure fields
- Delivering parts to fields
- Grading potatoes and receiving loads in potato bins

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will ideally have 1 year of experience in potato farming, a class 5 license and ability to drive in PEI
