Night Shift Caregiver

Job Description:

Miscouche Villa is currently looking for a reliable, compassionate, and hardworking individual to join our team as a Night Shift Care Worker.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with seniors, takes pride in providing quality care, and can help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents throughout the night.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide care and assistance to residents throughout the night as needed.
• Complete regular resident checks to ensure safety and well-being.
• Assist residents with personal care, toileting, and mobility when required.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and concerns.
• Complete light housekeeping, laundry, and other assigned nighttime duties.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Communicate any concerns or changes in residents’ conditions to management or appropriate staff.
• Complete required documentation and provide updates to incoming staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with seniors or in a care setting is an asset.
• Must be dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful toward residents.
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in different situations.
• Willingness to complete required training.

Position: Night Shift 7pm – 7am / 11pm – 7am
