Hours: Overnight – 4 On/4 (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: $66,242 to $72,565 per annum, as per CUPE 1870

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a graduate of an Animal Health Technician program from a recognized facility
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation is required. Consideration will be given to those who are eligible to write the VTNE within the position’s six-month probationary period
- Strong small animal nursing and patient care experience
- Confidence with catheter placement, IV fluid therapy, sample collection, sedation monitoring, and emergency patient care
- A keen interest in ICU and emergency medicine, with ICU/referral hospital experience considered an asset
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong organizational skills with experience maintaining medical records and billing information
- A collaborative mindset and a commitment to supporting students, clinicians, and fellow team members
- Professionalism, accountability, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care
- Comfort working with technology and electronic medical records systems such as RxWorks and Smart Flow
